Economic Polarization

I was suprised to see that even Alan Greenspan is concerned about the long-term growth in the gap between rich and poor in the US, that a large chunk of the labor force has not benefitted from economic change, and that this is a cause of concern: "As I've often said, this is not the type of thing which a democratic society - a capitalist democratic society - can really accept without addressing."
